WHERE TO EAT
The Colonial Tramcar Restaurant
Dinning in Melbourne can be a novel and fabulous experience, especially
aboard the converted 1927 tram. Sipping champagne you will travel along
Toorak Rd., renowned for its stylish and beautiful shops, see the famous
Paris end of Collins St., Tree lined and stately St. Kilda Rd., the City's
imposing Arts Centre and the gaping jaws of Luna Park on the world's first
travelling tramcar restaurant. The tempting menu changes regularly. Seats
thirty-six people comfortably.
The tramcar has been fitted with a balancing system so that you will not
feel a single bump.
A good idea to book. Departs Daily from Normanby Rd (near Clarendon St.,
South Melbourne) Bookings telephone: 9696 4000.
