HELP page is an extention of FAQ pages. More traffic you get, more support pages you need.
This is first HELP page and it's for my own pages!

* a headline
* an opening sentence
* a subject line on an email
* the header on a Web pageThat is what I and you need on every webpage. Simple? Not unless it's in your blood. I still have to force myself to follow this simple format.
Then, after your emotion-packed opening statement, you just
a) Make a promise
b) Back it up with convincing proof and
c) Ask for action
I still do not follow the above.
I still learn from my mistakes. By making NEW mistakes.
The old ones:
I gave very little thought before how each page will FUNCTION! This very page you are reading -- how is this page supported?
The links! Where does this page lead? What's next? Does the page offer choices? How visible are they?
Big problem: I had no STRUCTURE or SYSTEM. Only now I have WEB directories with the index, intro and notes pages. Now I do not have to remember it! Alas, now I have to add "help" or/and "FAQ" pages for each directory! It took me a while to realize that I have to have such pages for each site...
How about interactive aspect? Sellassie Mailing List lived through several lives and deaths. And I still have no newsletter! Guess what? It means that I have to build a directory or maybe even site just for the NewsLetter alone!
Only now I am making SERVICE directories for each site, to keep there the support pages, the invisible ones, the pages behind pages!
Our philosophy is, we let you help us build the site in stages! Printers: InkRefills
